Oldscaleguy ,I had the stock cowl on mine for some time now . I glued it together with thin CA and then used a good grade of lite body filler, not Bondo brand .Here,sa few pics of the cowl. I do custom airbrushing on motorcycles and just usre the automotive primers and thinners, So far it has held up really well.
