Default RE: What's wrong with these screws?

ORIGINAL: Zerodefect

tolerances are rarely followed with these screws.

You'll find in rc that sometime a .050 isn't allways .050, but a el cheapo .050 wrench will fit fine. Some times a .050 ball driver will be tighter than a standard .050, some times looser. You can measure the tips on every decent wrench out there today and they will all measure differently.

Really you need a selection of tools to deal with all the crappy bolt sizes out their lately.

I use hudy metric and standard drivers, Rpm ball drivers, and a set of those cheap L angle allens from harbor freight that often come free with car kits.

I noticed that there are a few screws that AE uses on the RC8 and B4/T4 that don't seem to fit any driver out there well except for the free L angle driver they include.
Shoot! I forgot those free allen wrenches included! Thank you very much buddy!

One more thing, I found that the spare screws of the same type, which I ordered online, are just the right size. This is like what you said 'sometime a .050 isn't allways .050'. Luckily I didn't throw away those free wrenches. Looks like I have to buy a set of HUDY now...
