Hello boys,
I have also CMP Zero and made big changes on it...
Model is GREAT, it flight very nice, a lot of better with retracts which can draw in... I use Robart 635 and 4" whells...
Motor on my Zero is Zenoah 45. It is great motor, little heavy but, Zero need a lot of weight in front. Propeller is Xoar 20x10...
Most important thing is all what you want to install put it as forward as possible!!!
Until now I have almost 170 flights with my model, and it is flying very nice, it is very strong and finaly it look very nice in the air...
Coming down with flaps is nothing...
My Zero have smoke system, reject tank system...
I make wing in glass and paint it... Weathering is done also...
Servos in my model are Futaba and Graupner. For engine standard Futaba servo, for kill swich little Tower Pro SG 90 servo, for tail Graupner 5077 servos wich on 6 V give 5,5 kilograms of torque... On ailerons and flaps are also Graupners 5077...
Total weight is almost 12 kilograms, what is far a way from weight which is in CMP manual... But it fly like dream...
Many photos about this Zero, and how I make it, you can find on my web page:
