Default RE: Hostetler or Midwest Extra 300XS??

ORIGINAL: Free Bird

Zip,

I bought the plans for the Hostetler Extra 300 27%, haven't built it though.

Hostetler designed this model thinking on electric power but it works with gas too, he told me. One thing to consider is he designed it with one piece wing. This is not a two piece wing with tube assembly as you would think.

I sent you a PM too.

Pedro
If Midwest hasn't changed (updated) the design over the years, it too has a one-piece wing. Nice model though.....

Yes, it is one-piece wing too.

I have a MW Extra 300S kit I bought few years ago. I kept looking for a tail conversion kit to 300XS that was available once with no avail.

Now, I hope I can start building the 300S this winter using the 300XS tail as a template to get a full 300XS out of the 300S kit and keep this 300XS kit for future.

I will purchase a CAP too it they are still available before Christmas.
