Yes, I changed to 12" counter-rotating props and saw virtually no difference in power level. The extra ground clearance was nice. I painted the wood props black so they looked nice on the model. The thicker wood hub required different adapters though.
Next season, I may try some 11x7 3-blade Master Airscrew props. They are black so they look nice but they are not counter-rotating. It will be interesting to see if I have any torque issues.
