RE: ARF for .30 FS
Look for .15 two-stroke designed models. Current .25 sized models are designed for two-strokes, which are much more powerful than anyone's four-stroke .30 sized engines. Yeah, I know it is difficult to impossible to find .15 sized models any longer. I'm glad I bought a few .15 sized ARFs from AK Models before they disappeared from the line up.
If you hand launch, or takeoff from a smooth surface, the four-stroke .30 engines will fly the .25 two-stroke sized models, but they will be low on power.
