RE: Tower Hobbies Uproar 40 build
I reshaped the stab center blocks, to fit my redesign, by pinning all three together and using my 8” disk sander to get the angles right and centered.
One of the neat things about cutting and fitting the way I do, and with the help of CA, I can use some unorthodox methods for gluing pieces together. I have a small flat rock/stone whatever, covered it with wax paper and covered an aluminum block with wax paper and clamped it. In picture 4 I just set it on top of my stuff so I could get a picture. I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
I am sanding, rounding off all the inside corners of the triangle braces as I go.
In the last picture you can see the partially framed up rudders.
