ORIGINAL: YellowAircraft
Hey,
You might have noticed that on our websites (
www.yellowaircraft.com and
www.yellowaircraftplanes.com), there's no longer any reference to an ''F-16'', ''F-22'' or ''P-38'' but, rather, references to a ''Mako'', ''Stealth Fighter'' and ''Fork-Tailed Fighter'' respectively. Apparently, Lockheed-Martin is imposing its ownership rights to the [former] names. Isn't this complete bull***t? Aren't those ''F'' designations military, which should mean ''taxpayer funded''?
Hmmm so who exactly then owns the rights to the names (words) 'Falcon', 'Raptor' and 'Lightning' and why not simply just use these as the product reference then instead???
From what I can see and according to the Oxford Dictionary at least LM have no rights to these names...
