Default Global Ultimate thrust angles???

Dear rockmon

Thanks for the information. I guess what I’ll do is set the engine –2 right and 0 down and start flying without the cowl and see how it goes. On first flight I’d rather have a plane wanting to go up than down. The only thing I’m a bit worried is how much will flight performance be affected by the absence of the cowl.
I’m still in the building process so I can’t say how tailheavy the plane could be but I have a unused super tigre 90 just sitting there with a bisson pitts muffler. If indeed you needed nose weight I think it is more or less the same weight and dimensions as your 61. I’m planning on using two 605’s for the tail and one standard servo for each side of the ailerons however I guess I’ll have to glass and pin the firewall. Do you think the airframe could handle the power? Anyway I hope I don’t have to throw most of the cowl away if I use the ST 90.

Oh! Did you fly the plane at –2 right and + 2 upthrust when you where using the webra too? I thing both the webra and the rossi are quite similar in weight and power. How was the vertical?

Not too many questions I hope!

Regards
