I just made my FIRST flight today! I did'nt solo, but when Gary, my instructor, landed my Trainer, I was SO pumped! After getting the plane up a couple of times, He gave me the controls and let me get some ''stick-time'' in. He had to save my butt a few times, but said I did ok. I don't think I'll sleep for a week now! Thanks, Gary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best 20 or 30 minutes of my life............can't wait to get better!

CONGRATS!! No better feeling I tell ya!! Like stang said "long expensive, and rewarding". I just finished putting together another ARF and I'm already thinking of what to get next! This hobby is alot less painful than running a marathon, but crossing the finish line of a marathon and soloing for the first time, are right near the top of the list of what has made me feel the greatest sense of accomplishment!! YOU are gonna luv this flying stuff!!! It's always great when you have a good instructor, and this forum really helps a great deal! See ya in the sky!
