I am sorry you find the marketplace to be difficult to use. Have you taken a look at the video tutorial?

The marketplace has been in its current format for 6+ years. Ad traffic through the site has been verified as being several fold higher than any other RC related venue. I cannot explain why you received better response to your ads posted on other sites other than perhaps the timing for posting your ad there was just right.
