I thought he would be OK with flaps down as flaps effectively give you a bit of washout. Was he landing flapless?
''Vampire'' (Kerry) Did you design using the full size sections? According to Lednicer:- root EC1240/0640 (14%), tip
EC1240/0640 (9%)
If so where did you get them? I have never heard of them. If not, what did you use instead?
Do other models from the plan drop a wing when stalled clean?
I have been in contact with Ivve Hallberg today. He has another explanation to what happened. He believes that he might have experienced a failsafe/lock-out situation on the radio, because there was no reponse from the turbine when he opened the throttle...and no other response, whatsoever....
He furthermore added that he used the flaps on approach....when trying to stall the model when testing it´s performance he said that it was hardly noticable when stalled and that it never had a tendency of tipstalling. He furthermore built in some degrees of washout....
It is a very docile and comfortable model to fly...Ivve informs.....
