Default RE: motor getting hot

To think electric motors should not get hot? Well, I will not go further. Do a little Google search. Electric motors can get hot enough to fry an egg on and be operating perfectly normal. It depends on how they are designed and used.
I do not disagree with you that some electric motors can get very hot and still run well, but when setting up an electric power system in an airplane I was alway told heat is a bad thing. You should always have adequate air flow over esc's, batteries(if possible) and the motor. None of my electrics get hot.
