Default First timer... need a recommendation.

i was in a toss up between what to get a while back too... and what do you know... same budget about out of the ofna hyper 7 RTR and the ofna 9.5, i am getting the traxxas tmaxx what happened, i saw one actually run. if you are racing or are some super competitive anal racer or whatever, then go for the buggy. the reason i chose the tmaxx(monster truck, not a buggy) is because it is the only nitro i have ever seen run and gotten to use. it will need things replaced, but no matter what i get, i WILL change abotu everything lol. i get intoa hobby and i want nothing but the best hehe. do you have tracks nearby you? i have a track that is almost nothing but a buggy track, they have races every week but regardless i will get a tmaxx. i get my paycheck thursday, ill probably run out and get it friday or saturday plus, monsters can go anywhere... it will just take longer and whatever you are looking for, take your budget and subtract about $75-100 from it, the stuff to get your first nitro rc running will be a lot. for my maxx to get running i will need a $20 pull starter(instead of a 6cell stick pack battery for the stock ez start electric system, and a charger to charge it), about $10-20 for a glow plug ignitor, a gallon of fuel which is $30, and ill need lots of rechargable batteries, so $20 there, it would be $30 but i already have one set of 4 rechargable AAs and a charger. and im going to buy a quick charger also, which i think is like $10-15 at my local walmart. plus i will need some after run oil, air filter oil... etc etc. so you see, stuff adds up quickly.
