I just bought a Delta 16.5 " at Lowe's. The price was 299.00 less tax. I kinda shopped around for the features and price. This press has a 3/4 hp motor. It runs very smooth and the chuck will accept bits that are a lot smaller than 1/16". One would think that the name Delta would imply made in the USA, but it is not, this carries true for a lot of power tools with USA names.
I was considering the Grizzly line but when I added it up the Delta bought locally came out on top.
