Hawker Hunter G-HUNT . . . Pictures?
After i have completed what i currently have in the 'Works' i will be completing a newly acquired part built project of what must easily be one of the most beautiful aircraft ever to take to the skies! . . . . the Hawker Hunter. I would like to gather together all the necessary information prior to starting the project, so why not start now! I am not wanting to finish it in the usual camouflaged colours and was looking for something a bit different, but also something that was a crisp, clean and uncluttered colour scheme that showed off the beautiful lines of the Hunter. My dad mentioned that in the late 70's and early 80's there was a couple of hunters painted all in red that were on the show circuit the two seat was registered G-BOOM and the single seat G-HUNT. G-HUNT is to be the subject of this project, from what i have found so far it was owned initially by Spencer Flack and was all over red with white and blue stripes, later it was sold to Mike Carlton and it was then it lost the stripes. I am hoping that other forumites may have pictures of G-HUNT and hopefully some close ups of it as i have found little in the way of detail on this particular plane after much searching. It will not be Jet World Masters standard, as it is smaller than the Airworld Hunter and i dont want to over do it wth too much detail, but i am wanting to at least produce a decent scale model of it. I have attached a couple of pictures that i have found so far in the hope it may jog someones memory as i have no detail of the underside markings . . . if there were any of course, any help would be gratefully received.
