you want to hear something hilarius. two city inspectors drove right in my driveway, got out and started looking at our "connection." Keep in mind our building is already signed off and they have no right to come out to our house anymore. Anyway they found my dad and told him that the connection was not what they were expecting. They were saying, "We better go take some pictures of a proper "connection" so you get the idea. What they wanted was for us to put a sidewalk and doors at either end of the connection roof. We built this thing ourselves and it looks like a pergala. It is on the very backside of the driveway, on total unusable terrain, right behind the brick wall they wouldnt sign off. My dad and the inspectors started going at it and then they came up with some lame excuse that the person who signed off our building didnt have all the forms (which they new was a lie). Long story short, We got the paper and documentation that the other inspector signed our building completely off. So they cant do anything about now. My dad went down and bought a "NO TRESPASSING" sign and stuck it in our front yard.
