A little advice for beginners. Make sure and have plenty of spare consumable items. Especially of you are low on cash and have to select what you buy to equip your box. Concentrate on spare props, glow plugs, rubberbands and fuel. R/C people are the greatest and most giving people in the world, and will do anything to help you out...this is especially true when it's no skin off their back to loan you tools to fix something, a hit with their starter, a fresh glow driver for a start, or even a quick charge to keep you flying...but beginners that show up with the latest greatest flight box decked out with power panel and fancy starter etc, can quickly wear out their welcome when they rely on the club regulars for the simple consumable items...because their new trainer only came with one of them. In other words, if you don't have the cash to buy a starter and glow driver yet, pit next to me and use mine all day no problem. But if you show up with a fancy flight box and new starter...by the time you've begged a 2nd glow plug and 3rd prop from me...I'll be sending you to the hobby shop.
