To further elucidate - and hope others are spared.
The R6008HS is NOT compatable with the HS-65MG, so I guess it would also apply to the HS-65HB.
I bought another Futaba receiver R617FS which has not got the "High Speed" facility. This proved my suspicion asa they work perfectly.
Moral . . Poor little rich boy syndrome. buy the best and you get problems. Change to the product half the cost and problem solved.
I think Futaba have a duty to point this kind of incompatabilty out but hey. A butcher is not going to shout "Rotten meat" so I guess this is just not going to happen.
