Atul is exactly right. No matter what, someone will come up with a high performance setup that will blow away the rest at a premium cost. Pattern doesnt have to be that expensive, you can get in it with a Focus II and an OS 1.60 and go fly. Now if you want to compete at the highest levels, that wont cut it, but it is always going to be expensive at the top of any competitive activity,
