Default E COMBAT FLAT BAT

I've been flying Flat Bats in .15 and .25 Nitro combat for a long time and decided to try and lighten one enough for Electric Combat.

So far so good.

This one has a 2 mil coro wing, 8.75"x48" with a 1"x1/8" Poplar spar. I'm using 3/16" hard balsa ailerons. Flying weight looks like 36 oz. with a Turnigy 3530-1400 Kv motor turning a 9x6 or 10x5.5 prop. and 3s2200mah LiPo battery or 3s2300 LiFePo A123. El servo is a mini Hitec and Ail servos will be 9gr micros. I drilled six 3/4" holes in the sides of the bat fuse for cooling the battery and Esc.

At over 100 watts/lb this plane should be competitive and easy to fly. Speed should be 50 Mph+- with moderate vertical performance. Cg is just about perfect at 7" from front of fuselage.

I will test fly as soon as this nasty Yankee weather heads back North
