The retracts he had were mechanical. Not sure of the brand. They looked like Hobbico. But then again, they sort of look alike.

We used saddle tanks to make room for the nose wheel retract. I want to say they were 6onces each, I could be wrong there.

Foam wheel made it easy to get the retracts to come up without straining.

I have not seen him or the plane for a long while now.
