Default stihl 017 on glow conversion

well I finaly got to fly the cap after the funfly today ,I have flown the cap alot with the poulan 46 but I wanted to do the first flight without all the spectators just incase of a dead stick or something.I fueled her up and a single flip she started right up without a tach I think it is turning around 7200 on a 18x8 wide apc prop with 0% nitro and 9% benol castor.just did check flight for the engine the first flight, the second flight was alot more fun,she has unlimited vertical, still just a little shy of the poulan but I am also at 13 lbs. (2 lbs. lighter).WOW what a difference on landings I had to go around 2 times she floats in like she should.I can do a loop alot tighter now.The best thing is it cost about 4.75 a gallon for fuel not a big mess on my plane and no gas smell. My 46cc on gas and this 30cc on glow uses close to the same amount off fuel. I never changed the tank and I get a good 15 min.I am very happy I did this conversion.I will try a couple props tomorrow and tach it for a good reading.Oh by the way thanks Terry at CH ign. for the glow plug adapter and carb, mine worked ok but the transition was lacking because it was to big of a carb.
