It's time for my all white Comp Integral to get painted. This is going to be my first Carf painting.
1. what paint does CARF use (polyurethane/ Nitrocellulose/ Epoxy/ acrylic)?
2. Before adding my colors, do I need to prime the surface or just mild scuffing would do?
3. what are the compatible paints that can be used on CARF?
4. I am thinking about clear coating finally, so please suggest the right paint for that as well.
Thanks,
Gyri
CARF uses urethane
I ''scuff'' with 2000 grit wet sand paper. No heavy primer.
I'm using lacquer. ( Electric power advantage)
No heavy clear coat. Polish the white as well as the lacquer with 3M Finesse It II
The attached photo doesn't do it justice.

I thought it did at least
some justice

Wish we had spectators like that at our meets!
Grand daughter Emily O and wife Jacci O. My daughter Susan, not Emily's mom, emailed me back and asked why two beautiful young women like that would want to hang out with me.
