You haven't seen many comments because the gear itself is excellent. The struts are steel tubing and very strong. The only issues I've had is with the collar at the bottom of the strut that holds the 'scissors' for the oleo. This collar is soldered on, and both of mine eventually came loose, allowing the wheel to rotate on the strut, and eventually fall off. I was lucky and didn't lose one. After re-soldering, I've had no issues. Another minor issue is that the 'oleos' are pretty rough from the factory. I cleaned mine up, deburred the end of the strut tube, and added a little grease. They now operate smoothly.
