Me too, I was wondering why such good lookies needed puttying, painting and polishin tips.
OK, I have decided against clear coating, will look to polish the white with some automotive products. There aren't really many DIY enthusiast here for retails stores to have different grades of paint. That's the reason why I am sticking to chemical names than brands. Dre and OhD, I did notice the shine on your models in the pic, quite good. I am wondering, have you guys done this a lot before to get this level? Basically I am contemplating giving the job to some professional painter. The issue is that they aren't modelers and hence can get a whole lot of weight on. My scheme is rather simple with a single prominent color and hence I am thinking of giving it a shot myself.
