HI,
Thanks for the reply. I am taling about the Fin and not the stablizer. I alos thought of cutting a small hole on the plastic side of the fuselage and get eboxy inside and then cover it with tape or some other means.. but i dont want to screw things up. what do you think
Sounds Like a loose CA hinge to me. Not properly glue in. Read the sticky at the top about CA hinges that minnflyer posted. Explains it all. You will need to buy some thin CA and a 99cent CA applicator to apply the CA correctly. There is no need to drill any holes, the thin CA should wick into the hinge. After appling the CA it will seem a little stiff, just work the fin back and forth and it will loosen up somewhat , and you'll be good to go. TRY THE THIN CA FIRST before you start drilling or cutting. Worse case is that you'll have to cut the hingees and reinstall new ones, and that will be an adventure!! So just try the Thin CA first. From what you have described, it should work just fine for you. Best thing is, no dissassembly required and you can fly again in 15 minutes!
