I've avoided the 40% stuff for similar reasons. I'm staying in a condo right now where the garage is taken up with a persons mid size pick up. If put in the garage, the 35% sits across the back of the pick up and there is no room to pass by either end of it. Getting the 35% through the front door and down the hall brings a few thumps and bumps every time so a 40% here is out of the question. I bought a used 46% Ultimate awhile back and it would not fit in the back of a long bed pick up with the engine and cowl attached. That's how I ended up with a trailer.

So for me the 100cc class planes is about as large as I want to go. They all easily fit in the back of my pick up. They do fly a lot better than the 50cc planes, which fly pretty darn good all in all.
