what's your order number? The ESC's you got are indeed volcano as we have changed the name to proton and they are the same ESC we got from hobbywing. If you have received the ESC with the BEC then we have made a big mistake. However you can disable the BEC by simply cutting the red wire from ESC to receiver so that no current will go to receiver and you can use your own external BEC.
