1/8 ply will be too thin with the blind nuts. Go with 1/4 ply and you can use the same screws that came with the ARF to mount the landing gear. Just make sure to reinforce the ply because the balsa on the bottom of the fuselage is VERY thin. I used triangle stock and lots of epoxy.
