Default The first real flight

Well sunday I had my first real tast of RC flying, and I need to tell the world My history gose back to 1963 when I had a single chanel set. remember one click for left two for right or was it the other way round. the early attempts all ended in disaster. I gave up at around 1965 and took up other intrests . Around 1995 I aquired a top flite mustang with a super tiger 75 and started again, but again I gave up after very little building. In 2006 I went and spent a bundle on all the gear needed to go flying found out what a ARF was, coming home with two a Piper cub and a Right 40 (just a basic trainer) . It has taken the last three years getting ready. I kept changing my mind on what would be the best method of getting in the air the result being I now have over 40 air craft nealy all are not trainers ,but I do have a love of war birds. Back to the topic of last sunday. I arrived at the field with one other member who had arranged for the club instructor the come . We were the only two flyers there all day ,so one went up then the other using the budy box. with the 40 at home I still flew the one that was obtained first , the right 40 with a satio 45 for power What a day with 5 long flights with the last 3 being my longest at the controls , no landings or take off yet. Many thanks to Ian for your help but your not finished yet. Yours Paul T
