Yes, keep it up.
And make sure you have a timer. If your transmitter doesn't have one, buy a kitchen timer and set it to chime about 3 minutes before you're out of fuel.
I remember shortly after I solo'd, the other guys waiting for me to land. (We liked to take turns, so everyone could watch the guy in the air.) I had a fairly large tank on my Ace 4-60, and the others were waiting for me to land when I ran out of fuel. I deadsticked it in and said "Gee, shouldn't be out of fuel yet!"
One of the guys waiting said "You've been hogging the air for 20 minutes!"
