Not a 170... Its a 450!
I should have a few more pictures of the motor around somewhere, I'll post them soon.
As for the top wing... each outboard section has an aluminum spar near the leading edge, and a wooden alignment dowl near the trailing edge. There is a matching aluminum housing in the center section for each aluminum spar. This section has 4 set screws in it, so once you get the wing slid into the tube, you just lock it down with the set screws, then the flying wires hopefully hold everything in place.
The bottom wing is in 3 sections also, but it's easier to assemble/disassemble if you just leave it in one piece.
