It's scratch built. Designed by a pattern flyer back in RI. Most of the paint is "dusted" on, just enough to cover.

I like nice looking models, so as far as weight? I don't care. [sm=bananahead.gif]

Glass covered / primer, which, BTW, gets sanded, dusted color coats, a bit of hand brush, then clear. My guess is, for the look, the weight is a non issue, but not at all adding much to the model.
