If you do a search in the Glow engines forum, you will find MANY instances of peeling/flaking Nickle liners...
FAR from being just ONE run of engines...
And contrary to the beliefs of a few of the posters in this thread, they are not all owned or caused by people who don't know how to tune an engine!
The peeling goes back to the 80's and happened to MANY ducted fan engines...the .77's and .91's...long before the well known .46FX debacle...
FP's, FX's AX's etc. have all had it happen...believe it or not.
How about the crummy bearings...nobody wants to mention that?
O.S. makes a decent engine, but they are far from the end-all / be-all...give me a Webra or Enya before an O.S.
