In most cases YES. It will take a little longer to charge. If you have an ammeter measure the current the charger is putting into the battery when it is connected. As long as that value is 0.1C or less, divide the MAH of your battery by that current, multiply by 1.2 to get the approximate hours it will take to fully charge your battery. In fact, your battery will probably last longer and give you better service by charging it this way than it will using a fast charging peak detector charger. Also, if you forget and leave the charger connected a lot longer than you planned, there is little chance of damaging your new battery; overcharge at this low rate is not usually damaging.
