Default RE: Another kit bites the dust !

soooo, am i the onlynutbag that keeps all the "parts trees" from the kits when i'm finished building my planes? my wife gets steamin' mad when she goes out to my office and all the extra "stuff" is still laying around, not thrown away. she's starting to think i'm a horder and can't let go of anything. most of the time it works for reproducing parts, but then you get that part every once in a while that you have to destroy the tree to get the part out with out damaging the rib or whatever you're trying to remove. especially where the little tabs are on the ribs.but that's my answer to repairing parts and now i guess preserving kits for a later date. except i threw the stuff away for my RV-4 before i thought about all that. DAMN!!! i was thinking about buying that .20 cub also. i have a .20 FP from O.S. and not alot of options for it. i feel your pain. pretty soon it's going to be nothing but ARF's and scratch building. (YOU SHUT YOUR da@* MOUTH!!!) the voices...

and i thought you were just going to say you crashed your 4*. of course that would suck too.
