Default RE: Well No flying this weekend

Philadelphia is a hub for US Airways. The airport management keeps the airport moving as well as they can. Air Traffic Control have their own rules as to departures and arrivals. If it stops snowing, and the airport authorities keep things moving, the closure, if it even happens, will be minimum. The worst you can expect is delays, and they happen at any major airport for many reasons.

If you really need to keep in touch, then you can connect with US Airways for flight status via text message on most cell phones. All you need to do is enter the flight number and text it to 839887 and US Airways will send back the status of that flight for that day. You will get, in return, the following:

from: US AIRWAYS
FLIGHT STATUS: (if departure is delayed for that day, they will tell you here)
DATE:
FLIGHT NUMBER:
DEP FROM: (airport)
TIME DEPART SCHEDULED: (time the flight is supposed to depart, which means, pushed back from the gate)
ACTUAL TIME DEPARTURE: (estimated time of arrival, or if it has already arrived, actual time of arrival at the airport, wheels on the ground, at the destination airport)
DEPARTURE GATE:
DESTINATION: (Intermediate - next airport in a series of destinations - or final destination city or airport that the flight is supposed to go to)
SCHEDULED ARRIVAL TIME: (time the airline schedules the flight to arrive at the next or final destination)
STATUS: (what may be the status, if not on time, for the flight at that time, meaning airport or ATC delay, in flight, delay, or whatever)
ADVISORIES: (Weather advisories, destination delays for any reason, or, again whatever may cause advisories for that flight)
DATE RECEIVED: (date the information is applicable for)

Easy enough.
