Don't scrap the wing. Remove the covering and with a razor saw, carefully cut it apart at the dihedral joint. Reset the dihedral angle and add new plywood joiners atop the old joiners with clamps and plenty of epoxy. I have done this to add ailerons to 3-channel models where it was necessary to reduce the dihedral angle. It will take a fraction of the time of building a new wing.
