What will be nice is that you can prop it down to fly the plane in a more relaxed manner, then prop it up later to make it more speedy.

It sounds like you'll have fun with it.

The electronics will also transfer to a whole range of different planes.

If you go with retracts, make sure you use the spring music wire type gear.

The loop spring absorbs the impacts that would pull out a normal retract.
