I run,modify and tune some of the fastest most powerful offroad nitro engines on the planet... Not trying to be egotistical or conceded or anything like that, but the truth is I have alot of experience with extremely high performance nitro's....There is a very high chance I am far more advanced in regards to nitro engine knowledge then the people who keep coming after me....
I imagine you find much comfort in believing that assumption.
Listen, I've heard this before, and I'm not impressed. It's the same line you gave in that thread about sealing carbs with RTV after you claimed "RTV will dissolve on contact when exposed to nitro, end of discussion". I wasn't so sure, so I soaked plugs of RTV in nitro fuel as well as the individual components of nitro fuel (methanol, nitromethane), videotaped the test and put it on youtube, posted it here, and the outcome was the exact opposite of what you said. It showed no sign of dissolution/degredation after weeks of soaking. That RTV thread went pretty much the same way as the thread ShoestringRacer was talking about earlier, and I've seen that one too.
After that, what am I to conclude about anything you say? Put yourself in my shoes, and the shoes of everyone else who watched that thread as well as the countless other threads you have been schooled in and then disappeared from after being proven wrong.
