I do know that neither the 654 Robostrut or the mains and their mounting blocks hold up very well in a highspeed aborted TO run into a curb :-)
My heavy-arsed bird tip stalled and KO'd a tip on second flight (I wasn't piloting, or it would have been worse). Very superficial damage...I mounted them to break-away easily. I am surpeised that fiberglass aftermarket tips are not readily available...or maybe they are and I am unaware of it. Probably because of shape differences in the wing nuances from builder to builder.
