If you're giving your savage to your kids, does this mean you are going to be running with them? Are you going to be repairing them all too? If the answer is yes, then I suggest sticking with a Savage variant. Spare parts will be common. Performance will be similar. Upgrades, setups, repairs will be simpler. Impromptu competitions will be more fun if you're running the same vehicles too.
