No, no, NO. vary bad thing to do. There are a lot of reasons not to, but the #1 reason is if the paintball breaks in the barrel you have to take the hole tank apart to fix it.

About one in three, but it was in airsoft guns. I been playing airsoft for about 10 years and when I frist started the paintball bb's had just came out with disasterous results. there are all kinds of marking bb's out now that dont use paint. surprised that you guys are not useing the sparking ones yet.
