Volfy- I have had several of the tradional "stick" rounded rudders and there are many of the "ultra" rudders around where I fly. I reshaped the factory rudder to aprox the same as the ultra, then chopped off a triangle from the bottom and top of the rear of the rudder. About a two inch triangle. Also removed the same amount from the front of the fin. The blunt cut at the front looks a little odd at first but I have grown to like it. I believe I have seen a ww1 type tail shape like this somewhere befor. My 35 mm photo equipment is expensive but does not take photos closer than four feet. I am shopping for a digital and will soon have the ability to post decent close photos. Happy flying.
