Default RE: Scared to use my Spectrum X9303...

I did several test with the JR 2.4 and the Hitec Aurora 9 with my jets. They have been on the ground and in the air. With the JR it was easy to check both, in the air and in the air. This is with the help of the data recorder. The JR recorded a total 36 fades on the ground. In the air it recorded 30 fades. The hitec scared me at first! There is really NO WAY to check for fades..... So I set the fail safe to kill engine. Went to half thro. and started my walk. I walk out about 200 feet from the jet and walked from on side to the other. I walked BEHIND the turbine so that it would have to get signal through the ECU, pump, turbine, etc. There were no hits. The next step was to fly......... GULP!!! I took off and so far everything went fine! I flew 6 min. and did not have any hits ( that I know of ) It never went into fail safe. I have some Videos on youtube.com .... They can be found under gjhinshaw I am going to do more testing with this radio. I have also contacted Hitec and talked to them about the signal it uses, It is different than the others.
