RE: Scared to use my Spectrum X9303...
hi i am going to get down to the basicsno matter what radio you may be using-you could simply be having a problem with the connection ( clip ) between the rx and the batterythey will get intermittent at times and shut down all controlssolved the problem 18 years ago by heat shrinking-or wire tieing the connectionan then attaching it to the foam i use to protect the rxi use GE silicone two to do that (use only that silicone )-as it can be pulled off when required-(removed easily )-and the silicone gives you some shock resistance at the same time from the high degree of vibration all the radio equipment is subject tohave you ever put your hand on the fuse when a glo engine is running ? feels like a vibrator- so why would you be surprised that stuff in the fuse-including battery connections would not jiggle loose if not attached to something-i have never had my controls shut off since i have been doing this-( happen twice prior to that )-i do not fly on 2.4 and will not until i see a major change on the posts on the web sitestill not perfected as far as i can tellhave had one glitch on my old futaba 72 mgh in 20 yearsif it ain't broke don't fix it ! ! !-just my .02 cents-hope it might helpENJOY REGARDS TONY 'the omega man" think pink -will keep you engines new inside ! ! flying a lot with a very high degree of success for 20 years
