I have the same radio

I never read manuals, however, for this "new" radio I decided the read the receiver installation section. It is quite specific and informative.

Even doing the range check for JR 2.4 is not done like the 72mhz. radios, you have to hold the bind button down so as to reduce the signal.

The other thing I always keep in mind is that it is still a radio signal subject to signal hits.
