I have heard about the fuel residues cooling the glow and preventing the ignition and that’s not the case, the glow plug is too far inside, so, if you manage to flood the turbine to that level, it is a good thing that you don’t get ignition
The main problem putting the turbine upside down is with lubrication during start up
During start up we rely on gravity to get liquid to the bearings, once it stated, there is enough air flow to carry the fuel through
If you have to put the turbine upside down, try to have the glow as far to one side as you can
