The problem Sig is having is due to an inferior shipment of balsa. The quality was so bad they returned the entire load and now have to wait for the next shipment. This will happen from time to time and the problem may worsen as more and more balsa is diverted to wind generator industry. Sig is not in any way going out of business. so don't get in a panic and start the rumor mill. Just be patient and wait for the next shipment to arrive and new kits will be cut.
This has been discussed in other threads as well. Besides, I myself would like to build a Hog Bipe for electric power.
